New Haswells

I am building my first computer and wanted to know if It was better to go with a Haswell or stick with a trust worthy Ivy Bridge. I am planning on gaming and watching movies and stuff but I don't know if there would be a performance upgrade between the two CPUs. I originally was going to get a i5 3570k until the new ones came out. Which processor would be the equivalent to the 3570k if I were to get a Haswell? The Ivy Bridges have Turbo Boost that ups the power but the Haswells have no information regarding that, what is a turbo boost? Do the Haswells not have a thing like that? Is it worth paying the extra $50 to get the Haswell and their motherboards?
