I was playing around taking a photo of my niece in her kayak fishing at our farm pond and heard a loud squawking commotion. When I looked around saw this Green Heron being attacked by a male Red-winged Blackbird, probably because the blackbirds had a nest in the bushes where the Green Heron was heading.
It happened very quick and was wild to see. The photos which happened in this sequence are meant to show the story of nature and the last one with the Green Heron in a defiant pose seems to say to the blackbird you want some more. :D
