Ok, so I was helped on a previous post about updating my computer to Service Pack 3. I have a Windows XP Professional. So I do all the updates and everything and get everything situated. Then I figure "hey I should defragment my hard disk to free up some space". So I go to do it and it says my disk is corrupted...so I figure its probably nothing since my computer is working fine. Well a couple days later I turn on my computer and its all of a sudden SUPER slow. Like even the login screen takes forever to load. And instead of the usual 10 seconds for the desktop to load, it takes almost a minute and a half. I cant even go through a window like Control Panel without it lagging! I googled a few things and it turns out it might be my hard drive is failing, I don't know if that's right or not but please, HELP!
