removing all traces of old printer.

i got a new printer and i uninstalled the old printer's software and clicked REMOVE in the "devices and Printers" section in the control panel - but the next day, it pops back up! , and it still is an option in my photoshop, printing choices, and is usually the chosen one for all printing jobs.
how do i get rid of the driver of whatever it is that is making my computer still recognize it?
