So I have this Acer Aspire M1201 and its been acting weird lately. I turned it off one night fine and the next day i turned it on and the blue light on top did not come on, but the system powered up, the hard disk spun up and the cd drive light was flashing non stop. So I reseated the ram, and then the processor, and then I reset the bios by removing the cmos battery and then I tore the entire thing apart down to the motherboard and rebuilt it all. Stoping and testing it as I was connecting parts to see if there was a part inside that was causing the issue. But there was nothing still. I thought it was done for, and I left it alone while I ate lunch. And when I came back to it, it was booted! I restarted the machine and it booted again and again over and over perfectly. I thought the problem worked itself out. But after turning it off and leaving it over night again, I had the same problem in the morning. I turned it on and left it on for 20 minutes and watched it and it ran with blinking lights on the front with no power light for a while. After about 10 minutes the power light came on, and then another 10 minutes went by and the computer restarted itself and loaded the bios and booted normally. So I thought I could make this work by waiting on it, but not today, now its been on for an hour and no boot or post or anything.
