My setup has been running for 8 months.
I decided to upgrade processor.
I replaced the old processor with the new one - already checked compatibility and everything - then I power it on. Monitor says no signal.
I replaced my new processor back with my old one to see if maybe I needed BIOS update. Guess what... Monitor says no signal...
All fans are runnign when I power it on. Yes, heatsink went on the processor with thermal paste. I checked for loose wires. I chcked my cable for the monitor. I checked if the monitor was dead. I tried resetting the CMOS. I tried removing a stick of RAM. I checked for bent pins (processor). I tried reseating the video card. I tried cleaning off the ram and the video card.
I don't understand what happened..
I really need help.
I'm kind of broke now as I've bought a new processor and gaming has always been so important to me.
I can't afford to go to Geek Squad in BestBuy to waste $70 + more $ if I had to replace a component.
