Help with usb headset

(I don't know if this is the right place to have this but i hope it is :/ ) I just built my new pc and its going good i just have a problem after i plugged the usb into the port there was this annoying poping/static noise that happened when ever sound was played i then installed the headsets drivers and still no luck this isn't a major problem but it is highly annoying especially when gaming/chating online.
