Ok here's the deal! I need HELP!
I have created an e-mail using images and txt boxes in Microsoft Publisher 2010 and I am quite fond of my design. I realize now that Publisher may have not been the right choice of program, but I created this e-mail at work and am not provided with too many program options. Anyway, I made this e-mail look exactly how I want it to look and used Publisher's "send using e-mail" feature to test it. The e-mail looks perfect in Outlook and several other e-mail clients, however when I send the e-mail to my Gmail account, there are white space gap lines in some of the text boxes and images.
After doing some research I quickly found out this is because of the simple differences in HTML reading of the e-mail clients and there is a simple HTML manual fix. Unfortunately I have 0 experience with HTML. I was able to find several guides on how to change the coding to fix these white spacing gaps in Gmail using 'style=”display:block”'. However I don't know how to manually add this because my e-mail is in .pub (publisher's) format. Is there a way I can change this file format, edit the HTML coding, then convert it back to .pub? Or is there another easier way of making my e-mail compatible with every e-mail client?!
Please help!
