Antivirus: Norton 360, Updated and Enabled
I cannot create a "new folder" in windows explorer. When I pull down the menu I only get the "briefcase" option. Something may have corrupted my registry so I need a fix. I have seen a fixfolder.zip available but it is for Windows 7. I don't know if it would work so i don't want to run it. I also do not have any restore points to recover from. The only options I can see is either rebuild (which I don't want to do) or recover certain files from an Acronis backup I have from several months ago. Please advise.
