I have another thread here, but I titled it Excel instead of Outlook and wasn't real clear, apparently, on what help I need, so I'm starting anew ...
My boss has outlook 2002, I have 2003. His computer is the same computer that my last boss had, so I would think it would work the same.
My Outlook 2003 calendar is shared throughout the company as our warehouse delivery schedule. Anyone can pull it up, and my boss should be able to also make any edits/deletions, etc. My old boss had "Warehouse Calendar" on his shortcut bar that is to the left of the calendar. All he had to do was click on it and my calendar would pop up so that he could see what was scheduled for delivery that day, and he could make changes/additions/deletions, as needed.
I've added my new boss as an editor on my shared calendar (modified the permissions). He has done the File|Open|Other User's Folder|typed my name and the calendar showed up like it is supposed to do. However, we can't figure out how to get it to "stick", so that he does not have to File|Open|Other Users Folder, type my name every time he needs to look at the calendar. I can't figure out how to get my calendar shortcut on his shortcut pane (to the left of the calendar).
Also, when he does have my calendar pulled up, he should be able to add/delete/edit appointments. He can make/add/delete my calendar on his computer, but those changes/additions/deletions do not appear on my calendar. Any changes he makes are only visible on his computer, which does no good because we all need to be in sync.
I need to be able to get my calendar as a shortcut on his shortcut pane, and I need to fix whatever is preventing his changes from taking effect.
Thank you in advance - I hope, lol.
