Greetings all. This is my first post on the site. Here's my issue. I have a Dell E520 running XP SP3 with 4 gigs RAM and have a Lexmark 7675 printer attached hardwire. I had this problem in the past and fixed it but since downloading an update for the printer, it started again.
When I boot, the start hangs on my wallpaper for about 2 minutes before loading the icons and start taskbar. A few months ago I had this problem and on a help site it had me uncheck one of the lexmark files that boot with the computer. NOT in my startups but I think in one of the "services". When I unchecked this box related to Lexmark, the CPU fired up much quicker. Any idea what that file might be?
