We have an Optoma HD70 and like so many posts out there, it works for 10 minutes like a champ, then colors begin to flicker, and minutes later, it shuts picture bulb off. We did like most, assumed it was the bulb, and bought a new one for $200 to no avail. Then, I researched, found the thread that so many said worked, disassembled the unit and cleaned it super-thoroughly. Put it back together....Same issue. Saw a post on here that discusses "heat sink", but I don't know what that is. I considered myself lucky to have dissassembled and cleaned the unit with all the delicate connectors, etc without an issue...What is the answer to get the projector working again? Even the Optoma customer service numbers I try are wrong...one is a hotel Marriott that is about to open soon? Frustrated, but willing to do what it takes to win!
