About covering tracks - history

I was asked this and was completely skeptical of the possibility.

It concerned a website that the person wanted to set up for domestic abuse victims. Male victims.

She described it as a "get out button" for victims to press and hide the fact that they had visited a victim abuse site. There are sites out there for victim abuse that have that, she thinks. But she has no technical expertise whatsoever so couldn't tell me more. I think maybe it is just a "go to Yahoogle" kind of button.
Given the level of knowledge needed, if it was at all possible, I am not offering help. Her tame experts wanted loads of money and they didn't understand what she was asking.

:confused: Is there a magic word I can give her so that she can at least give the tame experts some sort of direction to look in? I am thinking proxy servers etc but even then I don't see a regular browser allowing any external tinkering with history, and a savvy abuser would be smarter than a traumatised victim with internal settings.

I will be quite happy to have this thread closed in short order, as other similar ones have - if it is deemed inappropriate.
