Not sure if this is in the correct forum. Feel free to move it if I should be in Hardware.
I have an (old) HP Colour LaserJet 2550n. When connected via USB it works a dream - lots of life left in it even though it is over 10 years old.
It has an internal Jetdirect server and I am trying to get it connected to my ADSL router so that any computers that then have the correct printer installed can print to it.
I think my main problem is getting the router to "see" the printer.
When I print the jetdirect status page, the TCP/IP section gives me all sorts of various IP addresses. however I know that when connecting from the computer to the router, the addresses are all 192.168 etc............ So I'm a bit stuck as to how get everything going together.
If anyone has any experience with this or can lend a hand, I would be eternally grateful.
Cheers.
