So, have one of these Seagate NAS devices
2 x 2TB harddrives ( RAID 1 )
also has a hotswappable sata drive I can insert to do "one touch backups" from the RAID to this drive
OR
there is also a USB 3.0 drive that can be used
is there anyway to get on this device and copy the data from one drive to the other faster than doing it from
web interface or through windows / share
the copy process NEVER exceeds 10MB/s which is rather pathetic since the hard drives are physically installed on same device
must be a better way to copy from drive to drive tthan going through a computer / and networking ?
anyone have any ideas or suggestions
seems pointless to have a back up NAS solution that is slower than dirt
why have sata plug in or USB3.0 if it can only get upto 10MB/sec
