Issue with new wireless adapter

Hello,

I am having some issue with a new Linksys AE2500. I am connecting to a modem/router(Arris Interactive, L.L.C. TG862G) with comcast, and my old adapter, a d-link N150 is connecting fine. I bought the new adapter because I wanted to be able to transmit faster. So far with this new linksys, I have been able to download really fast, then for some reason or another the DHCP server stops and then picks up again after a couple seconds.
