Can I run a single cable with a splitter that would feed both a PS3 and an Xbox 360?
Would an inexpensive switch work better or at all? Radio Shack has a 4 port unit for about $28. Are there any "gotchas" with using either of these methods? The total cable run would be approx 50 feet.
Reasoning: When I try to download something to the game consoles it sometimes takes hours using Wi-Fi. I'm guessing that a direct connection would be faster and more reliable.
