I have a Samsung SyncMaster 2220wm flatscreen monitor. I've had this monitor for about 2 years and never had a problem. Until about a week ago when my computer went on stand-by and the monitor went to sleep, i moved the mouse and hit space bar to wake it up, like i usually do. The screen flickered and showed my desktop for less than a second then went black. It keeps showing my desktop for less than a second every 6 seconds or so. Now it's been 2 days and it's still doing the same thing. This is the 3rd time within a week this has happened. The first 2 times I let the monitor sit without connection and it started working again. I then turned off sleep mode on my monitor so it would always be on. I had restarted the computer for updates and it started doing it again. I have tried everything to troubleshoot this problem. Plugged it into a different PC, used both VGA and DVI inputs, turned it off for more than 8 hours. I'm not sure how this problem was fixed a few days ago and now it seems unfixable this time? I dont understand. Please any advice will be greatly appreciated!
