Help stopping ddos attacks

I am new to this site and this is my first post. I am having issues with ddos attacks. They started after I moved to a new location and upgraded our internet at the house. Microsoft confirmed that it was happening to my xbox one and now it has spilled over onto my computer. I have had to reninstall 7 several times and the last time I couldn't use my partion because it became corrupted. I have a fire wall on our wireless router, and Use Norton firewall.

Using
hp pavilion g7 laptop
AMD A4-3300M APU with radeon hd graphics 1.9 ghz with turbo boost
6 gb ram
blu ray optical drive (not BR writeable)
500 gb hdd
Had Win 7 but upgraded to Win 10

Any help would be appreciated.
