I have just recently purchased the ASUS S200E Note book with Windows8 operating system. Not liking touch pads I purchased a Logitech mini wireless mouse.
The problem I am having is that when typing text the cursor has a mind of its own. It will jump wherever it likes to amongst previously typed text, outside of the text perhaps to another command etc and it is driving me crazy.
The last time I had such a problem with a new laptop it was resolved by turning off the touch pad. I have used information from the net in how to do this in Windows8 and having tried the suggestions e.g. control panel, hardware and sound, mouse, settings etc I can't find anyway of turning the touch pad off.
Can anyone help me please fn+f9 doesn't work on this model either.
