Dell Inspirion m5030 white screen at boot up. Had 8 beeps a few times as well.
Checked all cables for loose items,none found
replaced LCD cable, no effect on problem
plugged into external monitor, system works fine, issue is only with laptop lcd screen output.
on occasion the lcd screen works, flickers, and then goes out again.
any ideas? replaced motherboard sometime back when it failed, been ok since. is it worth changing out the lcd screen? or could something else be loose or making poor contact....
