Recently, after being forced to do a complete re-install of W7 (Thank you so much iYogi Tech Support for your "expert" help), I backed up all of my mailboxes and saved emails using the Avast backup service. For the record, Avast isn't a whole lot of help when something goes wrong.
Everything went fine until I re-installed Eurora and tried to restore the mailboxes. To my horror, they weren't there. To be precise, they're there but they don't show up. If I track them down, they're where they should be by following Users, Backup, App Data, Roaming, Qualcomm,Eudora. The TOC and MBX files are there but the messages aren't in a readable form.
My question is what do I do to make Eudora see them again? I have a lot of important emails stored that I can't afford to lose.
