Need reliable wireless option for wired network

A customer of mine has a BT infinity setup (FTTC), this feeds via ethernet an external office building which plus into a 40 port switch. Each desk then has hard wired sockets.

Everything works fine but they wanted to add wireless capabilities to the external office building as it's outside of the BT Home Hub 3's range.

I installed an DB750 wifi TP-Link router within the external office, connecting it's EWAN/Cable socket to the switch. Initially everything worked fine, then after about a week the wifi would not see the gateway and thus not permit internet use. I then reset the unit and it now works with the gateway but none of the wired elements are viewable (2x NAS units and 2x printers).

So can anyone recommend something that will be straight forward to install, work with the existing switch and allow easy configuration so that all of the lan stuff is viewable/usable??

I believe the issue with the TP-link is down to the DHCP function and not allowing me (it did originally) to set it to work with the routers IP.
