Hi guys! Im having a weird problem. When i browse certain sites my router just blocks part of the information on the site.
Examples:
- On the welcome page of stumbleupon.com, all images or other graphical object simply wont show, this happens with alot of sites and just seems random.
- Twitter is showing NO profile pictures allthough every other object on the page is working fine. whaaa??
- Twitch.tv and justin.tv streaming wont work allthough every other object on the page is working fine (like chat and ad videos)
I tried different browsers, updates, restarts, nothing works. The problem persisted (even when browsing these sites on my iphone). This first led me to believe this was a router problem, as I just have bought a new one. Never had this problem before. But after turning off all security, and port forwarding/DMZ-ing I had no success.
"Oh its the ISP blocking you", but oh no my friends, I tried connecting directly to my modem and it worked excellent! So this is obviously a router issue. I tried connecting another computer, but all devices connected to the router is experiencing the same problems.
I also tried updating the firmware, but no success.
I am able to bypass some of the problems by using a VPN or proxy, but not all, so Im not sure what that proves. I am probably not smart enough to see the obvious, but Im hoping you guys are! Please help a poor guy out!
Oh, and the router I'm using is a Jensen AL29150v5. (and OS win7 sp1)
