I have an ASUS G75 notebook that I'd like to connect to an LCD TV via HDMI. A few questions:
Does my notebook need to be turned off when I connect the HDMI cable to the tv or is it ok to plug it in while the notebook is turned on?
The notebook's screen res is 1600x900 max, the tv is 1920x1080. (The video card is an nVidia 660m with 2gb ram.) It will be ok to run the notebook at its native 1600x900 while running the tv at its native 1920x1080, correct?
Anything else special I should know about connecting my notebook to a tv?
