Mystery Device and Driver! Next Stop Asylum

:) I really could do with some fast help on this one. Been at it for two days and no solution.

Under Device Manager I have a missing driver "Simple Communications Controller".
The only information I can provide by way of identifying the device is : ven_14f1&dev_10598&subsys_1059148drev_08
I've googled it and searched for it and done everything I can think of trying to identify which driver I need and where I can download it. Here are my computer specs:
