Is there any way to remove a redirect virus - one that sends you to a nonexistent website to purchase a nonexistent virus removal tool? No matter what icon I click on the desktop on my tower, it tells me I have a virus then it wants my credit card number. I ain't no dummy, by the way. The computer is a Compaq tower that has programs on it I need. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
