Dear Tech Support Guy,

I wonder if I can ask your help?

My computer Acer 5633 WLMi running Vista has been a pain for over a year now, totally unreliable, but is now getting unmanageable. It crashes constantly. It usually takes several goes to get it up and running, let alone online. Yet when I do the Windows diagnostics, it always says the memory/health are good. I keep using the Windows repair programs, especially the start up ones, but it does not repair or help.

After two hours of crashing today when I tried to start it, I have taken all my files out and put them on a memory stick. (I had previously removed iTunes, all photos, and the bigger files as it was almost full)
I cleaned it with CCleaner and Glary Utilities. So now it has no files of mine - Just the system. Still it crashes. I have just checked and the free space is only 8.64GB and 61.1. GB used space. Surely this is not right?

I try to keep it up to date with auto updates from Windows and File Hippo, downloading what is necessary. I did a scan re updating the Bios (not sure about them), seems just about everything was out of date - or was it sales hype?

I thought about a re-install. I have 9 Acer cd's, but seem to have no Vista, just an upgrade. So, I am unsure what to do - can you advise before I mess something up and later regret it.

You, and your colleagues, do a wonderful job. I have learned a great deal from you. Thank you. YG:up::)
