Hi there,
This has been my first PC build, which was a pretty daunting task for myself. I will list my specs below that SysInfo retrieved.
The title basically explains it, every now and again, the PC will not show the ASUS Bios logo. It will not get past this black screen stage until I hold in the power button to turn the PC off and then boot it back up again. My keyboard and mouse have LED's in them, so I know if the LED's light up, it will boot normally. If they don't light up, I know I'm going to have an issue.
Being a ASUS P8Z77V-Pro motherboard, red LED's light up one at a time to (assumingly) test each component for errors. Whenever the computer has decided to do it's weird not-reaching-POST thing, the DRAM_LED is lit solid red, and will not move on to any component no matter how long you wait. I don't know if I have faulty RAM, a faulty motherboard (which I'm quite frankly dreading, and I mean honestly dreading, I've got too much pressure on myself at the moment), or some issue.
I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly clued up on technical jargon. I do not believe I've made any mistakes whilst building this PC, but I hope someone can help me here.
Many Thanks,
George *****
