I can't access starting http:// website

Hi,
I cant access website which one is starting "Http://" my friend access facebook from his chrome browser, he deleted http:// and use like www.facebook.com, then he can access facebook from our office, I do like that but unable to connect. even if i remove http:// then it will again shows and blocked

what is the reason. how to solve this problem, please help me. I am using windows xp
