D drive not recognised.

I am trying to make my PC wifi compatible . I purchased a D-Link wireless Ac1200 duel band USB adaptor. The kit comes with a Cd-rom installation guide that is supposed to self load with Wizard, but my windows XP will not recognise the disc is in the D drive. If I put in another Disc it works normally, what do I need to do ?
