Laptop won't turn on, Please help.

Hi,

I have an Acer Aspire 5741z laptop which is refusing to turn on. There are no lights flashing, no beeping codes, and no fans spinning. It's not responding at all.

The AC Adapter seems to be OK as the green LED is lit and I'm assuming the Battery is OK as well since I've never had any problems with it.

When I took the laptop apart to see what's wrong with it, I found that the Power Jack was loose and it had a broken wire.

I have replaced the Power Jack with another one but it's not made any difference.

Please can somebody help me with this, any help would be very much appreciated.
