User Profile Service

Dear Guy Support,
Thanks for your initiative.
My Vista basic version windows stopped loging on my profile after I entered my password. It tells me: 'The User Profie Sevice failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.'
I saw a similar problem with a member with a proposed solution of ctrl+alt with double delete to get to the Safe Mode and change the profile. I tried to apply the same solution, but in vain.
Could you please help me?
