My system crashed yesterday and although I managed to get it to restore to a previous restore point it has lost most of the Windows Live Mail and Calendar information
What remained of Windows Live Mail did not have an Inbox
Many of the Storage Folders have lost all or most of the saved messages.
I saved what messages I could by exporting the messages and tried to repair the Windows Live Mail using the Windows Live Essentials 2011 utility in the Control Panel. This failed.
I managed to remove Windows Live Mail using the Windows Live Essentials 2011 utility.
I then tried to reinstall Windows Live Mail using the Turn Windows Features On or Off using the Control Panel but Windows Live Mail does not appear in the list of features!!
I do not care particularly what Email program I use provided that it works!
I would also like to recover the lost emails and candar information if at all possible.
During the restoration, Norton Internet Security (which is my antivirus program) said there was a clash with AVG free and I tried to remove AVG free. I note that the System Info does not mention Norton.
Help Please!
