Can My BIOS support DDR2 gpu?

My BIOS 786B0 v1.00 of my old HP desktop with a 1.5GB ram needs to be boosted with a gpu to watch Full HD movies without lagging.I dont know whether my BIOS supports a gpu or not.If it does ,i already have a spare NVIDIA ddr2 512mb.Can i use it on my desktop.I may afford to replace the power supply ,but i want to know will it support my BIOS.:confused:
