downloading pdf file

I just recently bought a new computer. I have to submit tolls to work for reimbursment so I go to the toll authorities site, pull up my account details, there is a button there to download as a pdf, i, but when I click on the link it takes me to another tab and says that I need to install adobe reader. I have it installed, adobe XI, I've uninstalled and reinstalled and no matter what I do it tells me to install adobe. What do I do to make this thing work?


BTW I am running on Windows 8.1, intel core i3.
