I am running Firefox 25.0.1 and Win XP. I recently noticed that Firefox was reloading an old web page on a particular site. If I click reload while viewing that page, the correct (newer version) loads. The older version being loaded initially is no longer on the site so Firefox must be loading from a previously stored version. I have set up Firefox to always delete everything at the end of a session. I have also set up browser cache in about:config to browser.cache.check_doc_frequency = 1 so Firefox should be checking for a newer version every time. I also have an add-on that explicitly clears cache on demand.
Nothing I have done seems to change how Firefox behaves regarding this particular file/page.
The correct page loads correctly using IE, Opera and Safari so this appears to be unique to Firefox.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
