Bluescreen at startup

Hi
The last few days i have been starting up my pc and as soon as it starts i get the bluescreen
windows has shut down to protect etc etc

It restarts and runs as normal without any problems, i checked the problem reports and solutions and found this,
it happened at the time i started my pc so it must be the one

I rarely use firefox and been holding off on updating my Adobe Reader
so is it just a simple case of Defragmenting my hard drive or is there something more sinister at work here
