I have an HP6200 Pro with an i3 G630 2.7Ghz socket 1155 CPU. I have seen the posts on HP Forums, regarding the many failures of this MB but with that in mind, can it handle an upgrade CPU, ie. quad core, higher clock speed, bigger cache, etc. I had a super PSU which I wanted to install in the PC, but the proprietary (no 24pin conn. - very weird) nature of HP's PSU squashed that idea. Right now, the PC has a 320W PSU with a 65W CPU and I want to stay in the 65W range so as not to overload the PSU. I have already installed an NVidea GT430 video card which only requires a 300W PSU.
