Please delete my account and all my posts. It's been almost two months since my initial post and I've received zero useful replies -- although one reply did give me an idea for doing something crude and stupid that either solved my problem or covered it up. This site also encouraged me to do things that I know are insecure, so I don't even know which side it's on.
