Hello, and thanks for the help in advance.
I have a MSI GT70 laptop that has had no issues for the year that I've owned it. Last night, I was playing a game, paused it and went to bed. The following morning, the laptop had rebooted and had this message:
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
For Bigfoot PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.1.1.1 (02/09/12)
Check Cable Connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
Reboot and Select proper Boot Device
or Insert boot media in selected Boot device and press a key
When I press a key it delivers the same message. There was no activity to the laptop overnight when this occurred, although my updates are scheduled during the night when they happen.
I can maneuver into BIOS by hitting delete during a reboot, but I'm not familiar enough with what I'm looking at to make sure my hard drive is being recognized during a boot. I'm aware this may be a motherboard issue (I've googled the problem), but I'd like advice on how to make sure the problem isn't in the boot order when I start the computer.
Thanks for the help
