Help regarding OEM install on new harddrive.

Good day everyone. I wasn't sure if this was the correct area of the forums to post this, so I apologize if it's not.

Anyway, this is my situation. My current harddrive is on its last legs. I am constantly getting messages that Windows is detecting a hardware issue with the disc (as well as HDD Regenerator returning S.M.A.R.T. errors about my harddrive) so I decided to buy a new 120GB SSD and an OEM copy of Windows 7 Home Premium. I didn't know what OEM meant before I bought it, lol, but that's ok. I found out that it's exactly the same as a retail copy (but cheaper) you just can't transfer it to other machines which is fine.

Anyway, I backed up every personal file I wanted to keep, and used a program called DoubleDriver to backup every driver on my laptop so that I can restore them later on the new harddrive.

So I want to know if the following steps are correct, of if I'm missing something or if I have them in the wrong order.

What I'm planning on doing is the following:

Replace harddrive
Pop in Windows 7 installation disc
Restore Drivers using DoubleDrivers restore function.

What I'm worried about though is if I won't be able to startup the DoubleDriver program without the drivers for my USB ports since I saved everything on a USB stick.

Are there typically drivers for USB ports built in to the BIOS at all? Or should I try some kind of boot CD for drivers?

Thanks for any help in advance.
