Here are the basics. I pulled a hard drive from an old laptop and an olddesktop. Bought the proper jumper cables and connected them no problem.computer(s) will not recognize.
Tried on 3 different computers, 1 laptop and 2 desktops. Vista, XP and Seven.Tried different ports. does not show in disk management. i do here themspinning. please help!
The cables I bought are a set of SATA/PATA/IDE Drive to USB 2.0Adapter Converter Cable for 2.5 / 3.5 Inch Hard Drive / Optical Drive withExternal AC Power Adapte. The harddrives are a. Seagate momentus 4200 2.40gb. the second is a maxtor 3.5series 40gb. the 3rd hard drive is a Western didital WD200.20 gb. Thanks for all you help.
