I am trying to buy a dual-band router and the specs say "2.4GHz 300Mbps + 5Ghz 450Mbps".
I currently have Charter internet and for Charter it says "download speeds up to 30Mbps".
Why do I need a router that supports speeds of up to 300Mbps and 450Mbps when my actual internet service only supports up to 30Mbps?
Can someone clarify for me? Thank you.
