I am helping a friend. They have a wired network with no dhcp (all the computers have static IP addresses). They have someone that visits and they don't have room for them to connect with a wire, so they purchased a Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router. We set the router up with a static IP address on the wired network and have the DHCP on the router set to a different IP scheme (the wired network is 192.168.2.0 and the wireless network is 10.0.0.0). The visitor can connect to the router fine and can access all the computers and printers on the network, but they cannot access the internet. When you try to ping the dns server it comes back as unreachable. When you try and ping the default gateway of the wired network you get timed out messages. However the wired computer can ping the wired default gateway fine. Any ideas on how to fix this???
