no sign -in for hotmail.co.uk

I have a shortcut on my desktop for my e-mail (XXX@hotmail.co.uk and YYY@hotmail.co.uk) This usually brings up an input screen to login to my e-mail. For the last 4 or 5 days, it just brings a blank screen with a tab saying "sign in" +the small MS logo. But it doesn't allow me to sign in.

Can you help please?
