Random/Occasional Crashes, Mostly at startup

Hi again, a few weeks ago i posted a problem with windows crashing when idle, the problem had appeared to be solved for a little while with an option within internet explorer that i unchecked after following some advice i got from a website, at the time I thought it was weird as the error messages i was getting in event viewer didn't correlate. Which was AODdriver4.2 had failed to start.

I had solved the issue with AODDriver4.2 by completely removing the drivers using a driver sweeper, and installing the drivers fresh. Since then I had no crashes when the system was idle AFTER it was in use which was the original problem. Instead now it only crashes occasionally on windows start-up, I get a black screen so I cannot see anything apart from one of the lights on the keyboard, to test to see if it has crashed on me i press caps lock/num lock to see if the keyboard responds, i usually leave it for around 5 minutes see if it wakes up but after that my only option is to hold the power button and reboot it.

I have recently reinstalled windows to see if the problem was with the OS and had no problems up until this morning when booting. I have checked the event viewer and log files and there are no errors that say anything apart from the system did not shut down cleanly.

The problem is that I cannot tell when it will crash, and there is no information that the computer gives me to work off, which makes it harder to diagnose. I cannot tell if it is a software or hardware issue at this point (although I am currently leaning more to "its a hardware problem) so I have posted this in the windows 7 forum.

Currently I am running memtest which has been running for the last two hours with 0 errors.

Here are my specs:

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
Processor: AMD A6-3670 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, AMD64 Family 18 Model 1 Stepping 0
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 6134 Mb
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6670, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 238464 MB, Free - 151459 MB; D: Total - 476940 MB, Free - 325651 MB; E: Total - 953867 MB, Free - 102960 MB;
Motherboard: MSI, A55M-P33 (MS-7786)
Antivirus: avast! Antivirus, Updated and Enabled
Monitor : Toshiba 1080p TV via HDMI

The PSU was a cheap one that came bundled with a £20 case, which kind of makes me think that it is not up to the task, but like I said I don't know what could be causing this issue at the moment. Any advice would be amazing right now as I am quickly running out of things to try :D

Thanks in advance!
