I just defraged (sp) my hard drive or at least started to. I started defraging and it ran for about 10 minutes, then the wife wanted to use the computer, so I shut down the defrag process. Thank god she wanted to use the computer as who knows how much I would of lost. It usually takes about an hour and a half to defrag it. Anyway, checked Disk space just before she got on and it went from 407 gigs to 405 gigs in around 10 minutes. Everything is clean, no logs of scans, been cccleaner and Revo cleaned, no excess baggage anywhere. Nothing was installed in the meantime or before. I always check my disk space as do not know what might be downloaded. Shut off Windows and restarted it and still no advance in disk space. Any ideas on what might be doing this. For the past week, has not moved only during defraging. I have vista home. Would like to defrag cause it hasn't been defragged in a while but afraid to do so.
