Recently my built-in webcam on my hp pavillion dm4-2070us entertainment notebook pc laptop has stopped working. It is recognized under "device manager" however when i open it, it is not working and not capturing any visual image. It doesn't work with any programs that use webcams such as Skype, ooVoo, or facebook either. What should I do to fix it ? I have the Cyberlink Youcam. My operating system is windows 7 64-bit.
I have tried to uninstall & reinstall the webcam software as well as updating its software driver. But the problem still remains. In device manager, it is recognized as "usb video device."
Please help me ! I've been dealing with this problem for 2 weeks now & still can't fix it. Thank you in advance !
