Excel Tables - Summing a Filtered Column?

I recently found out how you can take a large table with a header row, click in it and "INSERT TABLE", which makes the top row drop-down sortable. Way Cool! You can also select the results and the total displays on the lower right corner.

Is there a way to sum the column tho, so you can get the sum of the selection showing in the spreadsheet?

If I just SUM it, I get the whole dataset not just the filtered items.
